Perrott’s Folly

Perrott’s Folly, one of the inspirations for J.R.R. Tolkiens Two Towers in the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

These photographs are of Perrott’s Folly, one of the inspirations for J.R.R. Tolkiens Two Towers in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. They were taken on Halloween 2006 as part of a special event at the tower, which was capitalising on the success of Peter Jacksons films and the folly’s connection to the stories.

The tower can be found on Waterworks Road, Edgbaston, and the second of the two towers, Waterworks Tower, can be seen in the distance.

All photographs were taken on a Olympus C2 (2 megapixel) compact digital camera.
